On June 6th, 2008 while on a training ride, I was hit by a car. I suffered many serious injuries including lacerated liver and pancreas, five broken vertebrae, severed ACL and torn MCL of the left knee and many other injuries. Because I survived this horrible accident, many people said I must have had a guardian angel watching over me. I created the “Ange Gardien du Vélo”, which in French means “Guardian angel of the bike” to keep my family, friends and anyone who rides safe. The necklaces, earrings and clothing are to be worn while riding or anytime one needs extra strength. I will also create custom designs upon request.

I was born and raised in Leadville, Colorado. My husband,Ty Hall grew up at a small ski resort called Bryce Resort in Virginia. We decided to make Leadville our home and bought the Tennessee Pass Nordic Center in 1994 and started the Tennessee Pass Cookhouse in 1995.

I taught art at the Lake County Middle School for 10 years and now work full time with our businesses.

Ty and I have a wonderful existence living, working, and playing in the mountains.
